Nee and Solli Tholaiyen are both beautifully arranged, but the tunes deserved better singers than Yuvan and Dhanush. Same is the case with Naan Ini Kaatril, where Yuvan's mediocre rendition hampers the gorgeous melody, as it's with Ennulae's intriguing stringy bedrock that's offset by Tanvi Shah's ineffective vocals. Yaakkai sees Yuvan in fine mettle; if only it had better singers!
