Iravu Vettai Aaduthey, Vaazhvey Oru Poro and It's a Story tread on similar themes about survival in a big busy metropolis. They are intriguing, especially Vaazhvey..., but are also situational, not having as much repeat value as standalone musical pieces. But where Javed Riaz shows promise is in the breezy Yendi Unna Pidikkuthu (Karthik) and Aarthi S. Ashwin-sung Thollai Seiyum Kadhal, a serene minimalist composition featuring a captivating medley of flutes, woodwinds and guitars.
