Tharki Chokro, set to tune by Ajay-Atul, treads the familiar rustic folk path, yet the fun and mirth it exudes is undeniable, with singer Swaroop Khan doing a great job matching the exuberance of the track. Feeling completely incongruous and out of place however is Ankit Tiwari's Dil Darbadar which predominantly suffers from that Teri Galliyan hangover, while Shantanu Moitra's Bhagwan Hai Kahan Re Tu turns out to be mushy background material that's perfunctory at best. Chaar Kadam and Love is a Waste of Time are pleasantly melodious and retro a la Zoobi Doobi (3 Idiots), but Nanga Punga Dost, with its delightful violin interludes, is the album's best, the breezy tune gaining pitch-perfect vocal support from Shreya Ghoshal. PK is high on déjà vu and is serviceable at best.
