India Waale, alongside its Electronic version, is formulaic EDM made somewhat interesting with a melodious detour by Neeti Mohan, but Manwa Laage compensates for it and how. Gorgeously earthy in its arrangements, the tuneful ditty features Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal in top form. Sukhwinder Singh's rocking rendition is pretty much the only good thing about Satakli, while Lovely and its other variant Kamlee give off that bland Baby Doll-like Punjabi hip-hop vibe. World Dance Medley is more a Happy New Year medley, lacklustre and tiring, while middling just about sums up Nonsense Ki Night and Dance Like a Chammiya — a next-gen Sheila Ki Jawani that's more forgettable than it's groovy. Sharabi's techno-pop sounds more like a mish-mash between Pritam's Paisa Paisa (De Dana Dan) and Harry's Not a Brahmachari (Shaadi Ke Side Effects), and The Heist, the only instrumental, is just about adequate. Happy New Year is mediocre stuff from composer duo Vishal and Shekhar.
