The extremely hummable Tere Hoke Rehengay is right up in Arijit Singh's alley and the singer as always lends pitch-perfect vocal backing to the guitary melody. Its Reprise version is more Yuvan'ish with accordion and guitars featuring prominently and has Shweta Pandit in excellent form. Pudhupettai's hard-core dappan koothu Variya gets a makeover in Dukki Tikki and Mika Singh does what's usually expected out of him very well. After what seemed like an endless spate of dance numbers, Benny Dayal finally gets to croon something different in Hindi with the fantastic qawwali Kabhi Ruhani Kabhi Rumani (its unmistakable Tu Hi Haqeeqat flourishes notwithstanding). Dayal's other song Flip Your Collar Back goes full-on techno hip-pop, while Mamta Sharma and Anupama Amod bring on the energy in the catchy yet templatish Namak Pare. In his full-fledged Bollywood debut after his solo offering in Striker, Yuvan Shankar Raja packages his trademark tunes to fantastic effect.
