Aditi Singh Sharma and Amitabh Bhattacharya's exuberant rendition makes the predictable Offo a catchy listen. Locha-E-Ulfat, with its bagpipe backed hook, is very much sprightly and rightly so in Benny Dayal's first-rate singing. Largely evocative of Sajda (My Name is Khan) perhaps due to the sufi touches, the lilting Mast Magan rides on pitch-perfect vocals from Arijit Singh and Chinmayi, while Iski Uski (Shahid Mallya, Akriti Kakar) is largely a techno-bhangra that's in line with a Dharma production. The guitar'y Chaandaniya is soothing on the ears and singer K. Mohan, with backing vocals from Yashita Sharma, does a great job. The wedding styled arrangements in Hulla Re are truly captivating, but the tune, not so much. The lyrics are a mix of Punjabi and Tamil, and Shankar Mahadevan, Siddharth Mahadevan and Rasika Shekhar infuse a much-needed energy to the song. Given the north-south connect in 2 States, the music tries as much bridge the divide, but Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy don't quite hit the bull's eye.
