Music Review: Damaal Dumeel (Tamil)

Dumeel is a blatant Kalasala rehash so much that even Usha Uthup's energetic vocals cannot save this one. Shankar Mahadevan, likewise, tries to salvage the uninspired Odi Odi in vain. If the theme song is functional, Saga Saga is pacy and rides on Naveen Madhav and Andrea Jeremiah's exuberant rendition. The highlight of the soundtrack is Pogadhae Pogadhae, a serene harmony that sees actor Remya Nambeesan in top form. Save for the last two songs, Damaal Dumeel is standard Thaman fare.
