Aha Mazhaiyum is a catchy folk-Carnatic mix, aided by Haricharan and Hamsika Iyer's flawless rendition. Its ghazal-styled Reprise version employs saxophone and tabla to mesmerizing effect, with singers Nikhil Mathew and Saptaparna Chakraborty's impeccable vocals adorning the soulful melody. Palakkad Sriram's fiery singing makes Needhi Or Naalum a pensive listen, while Vijay Yesudas and Shweta Mohan rock the undeniably arresting Pesaamal Pesum. The gorgeously composed Carnatic-based Vinmeeniley rounds off the album, with Karthik doing the honours in his inimitable style. Kadri Gopalnath's son springs up a nice surprise with Manadhil Maayam Seidhai after a string of misses; not to be missed!
