Music Review: Force

As a Hindi remake of the 2003 Tamil blockbuster Kaakha Kaakha, Force marks the re-entry of Harris Jayaraj in Bollywood after Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Khwabon Khwabon (Uyirin Uyire  in the Tamil version) continues to be same the good old fantastic song, with K. K. infusing a manic energy into the track as he did in the Tamil version. Karthik and Bombay Jayshree take the melodious Chahoon Bhi to whole new heights, though it's very evident that the arrangements and the tune bear a unique A. R. Rahman tinge to it. Main Chali (Naresh Iyer, Shreya Ghoshal) seems to be lifted straight from his own Mudhal Mazhai (Bheema), while the album closer Dil Ki Hai Tamanna fares a trifle better. Harris Jayaraj's comeback soundtrack isn't very noteworthy but can't be written off as yet!
