Raees is creatively bankrupt and run-of-the-mill for the most part, barring Ram Sampath's folk fusions Udi Udi Jaye and Halka Halka, and JAM8's addictive qawwali Zaalima, which gets first-rate vocal support from Arijit Singh and Harshdeep Kaur. By the way can someone give item numbers a rest already? It's oh so passé!
