Sumesh Parameswar's Nilamanaltharikalil compensates for its dated 90's-like soundscape by roping in Harishankar K. S. and Shreya Raghav, who do a splendid job of the singing. Its second variant, a guitary middle-eastern instrumental (Kismath Theme) however doesn't work just as well. Shreya also shows up in Loneliness, humming her way through the lilting string-laden instrumental. Aane Madanapoo, a simple but engaging mappilla pattu, gets an interesting middle-eastern twist, with singer Kabeer Kallalam ably leading on the vocal front, while Sumesh's guitars and Biju's veena adorn the serene lullaby Vinnu Churanna. Debutant composer Shamej Shreedhar, for his part, comes with a gorgeously euphonious qawwali Chilathunaam (flawless singing by Madhushree by the way), but it's Sushin Shyam, the soundtrack's third composer, who delivers a knock-out with Kisa Paathiyil, a haunting ghazal'ish stunner that singer Sachin Balu handles with impeccable finesse. Kismath is what can only be summed up an aural treat!
