Sowmya Ramani Mahadevan sounds marvellous against the enchanting, minimal backdrop that Prakash Nikki orchestrates in Mayam Kaana Varaiyo, while Puthu Puthu makes for a gripping hip-hop listen, thanks to an energetic rendition from Haricharan, Thor Nishanlee, Tha Mystro and the composer himself, who spellbinds with a stunner of a semi-classical melody in Anuvai with dependably top-notch vocals from Abhay Jodhpurkar and Shweta Mohan. Prakash Nikki surprises after a rather tepid Rowthiram.
