Malarvaka Kombathu is hands down one of the best compositions from Vidyasagar, a splendid addition to the ever-rocking combination of P. Jayachandran and the composer — Poove Poove, Kannil Kaashithumbakal, Marannittumenthino, Aaraarum, Enthe Innum Vanneela, Prayam Nammil, to name a few — and a gorgeous semi-classical melody oozing techno goodness, complete with a second interlude that's by turns dreamy and serene. Jayachandran in particular never seems to age and that can only be a good thing.

The ghazal-touches added to Nilaavum are splendid to say the least, and Harishankar aces the song with his flawless heartfelt rendition. Ra Ra-fame Binny Krishnakumar shows her prowess in the fantastic classical piece Dhithiki Dhithiki, the tune reminiscent of Vidyasagar's own Enna Kuraiyo sung by Carnatic exponent Sudha Ragunathan (Mandhira Punnagai). Pularipoopenne sees Vidyasagar channelling his inner Ilaiyaraaja in what's yet another immensely likeable melody. And with Vijay Yesudas singing it, what's there not to like. Ennum Eppozhum's music stays true to its title, boasting of songs you can listen forever always!
