Tony Kakkar's Sawan Aaya Hai is wonderfully pleasant despite its 90's throwback feel. And when you have Arijit Singh on the vocals, need I say more? Its equally good Unplugged version relies solely on a guitar and flute based arrangement and the composer himself goes behind the mic for this one. Of the rest composed by Mithoon, Hum Naa Rahein Hum is a cracker of a melody, beautifully orchestrated (the flute in the background is just wow!) and wonderfully sung by Benny Dayal. Farhan Saeed pours his heart out in the melancholic but passable Tum Hi Ho-like Naam-E-Wafa, while Ik Pal Yahi's rock base is undeniably appealing, with Saim Bhatt doing a commendable job on the singing front. The album closer Mehboob Ki is instantly captivating, its orchestration reminiscent of Jhalak Dikhlaja (for that recurring catchy hook) and Woh Ajnabee. Creature 3D once again proves that a Bhatt soundtrack is definitely worth a listen.
