Siddharth Mahadevan's ultra-sprightly vocals rev up the energetic hard-rock number I'm Just Pakaoed, the thrumming of guitars giving just the perfect orchestral company. Kaboom shows Anushka Manchanda's singing prowess and the track is a funky mix of folk and percussion. Clinton Cerejo rocks the contemplative Baat Kya Hai and the soothing arrangements by the trio work well. The jazzy feel of Sheher Mera is nicely done and singer Thomas Andrews hits all the right notes with his spotless rendition. Shankar Mahadevan's powerful voice in Khushfehmiyan does wonders for the song, and bereft of the beats, its Unplugged version works even better. The soundtrack's highpoint is however Arijit Singh, who walks away with all the honours in the immensely addictive melody-rock-Arabic fusion Khuda Na Khasta. Composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy bounce back with a vengeance and the result shows. One By Two is greatly enjoyable.
