Music Review: Sri Rama Rajyam

Sri Rama Rajyam opens magnificently with Jagadanandha Karaka, wonderfully sung by S. P. B. and Shreya Ghoshal. The pleasant ride continues with Devulle Mechina and Ramayanamu, both superbly sung by K. S. Chithra and Shreya Ghoshal, who take the songs to an altogether new level with their spotless singing. Ms. Ghoshal deserves another mention in the stupendous Sita Seemantham and Srirama Lera, all so melodious, mellifluous and extremely well-composed by the maestro. Kalaya Nijama by Tippu and Gali Ningi Neeru are some other notable tracks in the album. With great singers to provide the perfect vocal support, Ilaiyaraaja is back with a top-notch soundtrack, one that's brilliantly orchestrated and deeply reminiscent of his early works in 90's.
